Queensland could see a major investment in the nationwide infrastructure with reports of a potential a billion dollar allocation to the CopperString project in the upcoming spending review. The CopperString project is a proposed energy corridor that would run from Mount Isa to Townsville, delivering much-needed transmission capacity for the state.
